Anthony Capozzoli


Vice President, Operational Excellence

Anthony Capozzoli is a 16-year Restaurant Associates veteran and a graduate of Johnson and Wales University. Anthony was recently promoted to VP Operational Excellence, where he will develop new strategic initiatives and ensure the premium and high quality operational excellence Restaurant Associates is known for is delivered daily to our clients and guests.

Previously, Anthony was R/A’s COVID-19 Safety Czar. The position entailed having a laser focus on managing R/A’s ongoing response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, as well as leading all food safety, quality assurance, & workplace safety efforts for Restaurant Associates. This includes managing all safety communications, awareness programs, trainings, analysis, employee and manager mentorship, insurance claim administration, and third party vendor management.

Prior to being appointed as the industry’s first Safety Czar, Anthony was the Senior Director of Strategic Projects where he directed all new unit openings including defining scope and deliverables, assigning tasks and required resources, managing budgets, maintaining schedules and project timelines, licensing, and tracking all deliverables. He also headed up Quality Assurance efforts during that time since December of 2013. Anthony is currently the chairman of the RA Safety Advisory Board including some of the food service & hospitality industries leading experts on food sanitation and workplace safety.
