Restaurant Associates Proudly Partnered with New York Common Pantry for Third Annual Dick Cattani Memorial Golf Outing
For the third year in a row, Restaurant Associates (R/A) joined forces with the New York Common Pantry (NYCP) for the Dick Cattani Memorial Golf Outing, a meaningful day of sport and service held in memory of the former R/A CEO, a visionary leader and dedicated humanitarian.
With nearly 100 golfers on the course and more in attendance for the rest of the festivities, the event brought together mission-aligned organizations and individuals who are committed to making a difference. R/A was proud to sponsor a hole alongside other like-minded companies who share NYCP’s deep commitment to fighting hunger and poverty in New York City.
New York Common Pantry is not your average food pantry. Their holistic mission addresses food insecurity at the root by providing fresh, nutritious food, case management services, and critical support around housing, healthcare, and employment. NYCP helps individuals and families not just survive but begin to thrive again.
This year’s outing raised over $186,000, with 100% of proceeds supporting NYCP’s life-changing programs and services.
“Dick Cattani believed in lifting others up through compassion, connection, and community,” said Ed Brown, Chef and CEO of Restaurant Associates, who is Vice Chair of NYCP’s Board of Directors. “Partnering with NYCP to carry that legacy forward is not only an honor, it’s a responsibility we embrace wholeheartedly.”
