Women in Culinary
At R/A, we believe through investing in women culinarians, we can continue to spark a movement of change. In alignment with our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging goals, R/A is committed to building a strong pipeline of women leaders to leverage gender diversity for better business results. In 2019, R/A began its Women in Culinary initiative with the goal of becoming the employer of choice for female culinarians.
In 2021, R/A leaders formed a committee and developed the APT (Aptitude, Potential, Training) program. APT provides women frontline associates with culinary knowledge and the tools for career advancement. Participants are paired with a Coach as well as their unit Executive Chef to guide them through the program.
